This one's inspired by Card Patterns Sketch #48. And yes as Shalini mentioned the cane basket is being used really well ;).
I didn't have any design planned for this one, just went with the flow. I like how it has turned out......
The light pink paper strips wrapped around at the edge is inspired by this card by Lizaveta Danenkova's. She is a member of the DT at Card Patterns. I have had these rolls of paper strips for a long time and wasn't really sure of how to use them.....
I have tried to stitch around a circle for the first time (it isn't too obvious in the picture).

I completed this set of Dora Birthday Invitations on Tuesday. Required a lot of effort but was worth it in the end. Each alphabet in the name of the birthday girl has been punched and stuck individually, the corrugated cardboard "2" is also handcut........Thanks for looking!

I made this card for last week's Card Patterns dare but I got late :(. This was on my mind since I saw the CP sketch but I got busy with other things.......anyway better late than never!
This is for my nephew Aadi, who turns 6 on the 23rd of this month, and is obsessed with his electric guitar.

I also got my room a bit more organized this week, I am obsessed about shopping for craft supplies and now I am running out of space......so I ordered this cane seat with storage, it has a lot of space inside, which I'll use to store my rolls of handmade paper, which were earlier kept like thisThanks for looking!

I made this on request for friend for her parent's wedding anniversary. I built this card around the pink, green and chocolate brown polka dotted ribbon........some quilling, some stamping and loads of stitching.....I love how this has turned out...Have a great weekend!

I made these fun "Heart" cards over the weekend. I have used a lot of puffy stickers, some colored foam, some corrugated cardboard and wooden and chipboard alphabets and a lot of heart punched borders (my favorite these days, apt for Valentine's Day!!)
