Another quick post

I had made the backgrounds for these way back, just stuck some chipboard/puffy stickers and stamped the sentiment last night, n added some crimped quilling strips (I didn't want to use ribbon).

Thanks for looking!

Just a quick post

I have been busy both at home and at work lately so haven't been able to craft much. My brother-in-law and his family are visiting us after 2 years and we are getting our kitchen remodeled plus to top it all I have a project release at work this week........anyway Smita had advised that I should make some excuse, sneak into my room for some time and make a card, I did just that on Sunday........n this is what I made.
This has been inspired by Card Patterns sketch #57 and also by Maggi, the guest on Yvonne's blog for this month. As I said earlier we are remodeling our kitchen so I have rolls and rolls of brown corrugated cardboard from packaging at hand. I cut strips of it and rolled it into flowers and tore a portion of it for the background.

I had received this blog ward from the very talented Laura sometime back, check out her digital doodling it is super cute. Thanks a ton Laura!!

 Have a great week!!

Card Patterns Anniversary Sketch

I liked this weeks Card Patterns sketch so much that I made another card based on it.
A primarily black and white card with a hint of red.....I have used some stitching in black, white and red, some stamping and masking (my current favorite technique).
Here's a closer look.
Happy Crafting!!!

Make A Wish!

I'm back after a long break, I did complete a big craft project last week but more on that later. For now here is my take on this week's Card Patterns sketch. This week is also Card Patterns first anniversary and they are hosting a blog hop with great prizes to be won.......so do visit their blog.

This card features a free digital stamp from Digital Doodling. I hand colored it using oil pastels and added some glitter. So this card qualifies for Lia Stampz Digi Challenge. Lia is a talented digital stamp designer.

This card inspired by Daring Card Makers "Here Comes the Sun" challenge.

Have a great week!
