Handmade Cards for Diwali

Yeah I know Diwali is still more than 2 months away...I made a set of Diwali cards on request. I decided to keep a few for myself to send out to friends and family this year, will probably make a few more cause I absolutely love how they turned out....
I've used PieLane Ganpati Stencil for card no 1, I've embossed with the stencil and then colored with distress inks. The tutorial of this procedure can be found here.
The flame of the diya/lamp in the rest of the cards is handcut. The diya base is half of a 2" punched circle.
Thanks for visiting,
Juhi

  9. In the age of Internet, Diwali E-Cards are fast replacing paper Diwali Cards. This is because sending E-Cards is fast, instantaneous and cost effective way of sending greetings to dear ones.
