Gelatos!!

Hello everyone!
I finally got around to using my gelatos......I have only 3 colors, black, which I have for almost 6 months and never used and 2 recently bought colors gold and silver.
I just love how easy it is to create fun backgrounds with these, they are so creamy and fun part is they are reactive to water.
For this card, I created a window on my base cardstock by covering the rest with masking tape. Stamped and heat embossed with a background stamp and then went crazy with the gold and silver gelatos, spritzed it with red Lindy's Stamp gang Starburst Spray and blended everything with my fingers. I didn't quite like the sharp edges of the central panel after removing the masking tape so I added gold gelatos to the card's outer edge and again smudged with my fingers, still didn't like the result so I went ahead and sprayed water on the entire card and let the colors run into each other, ........and wallah I finally got something I liked, well not quite, so finally I ran over the edges of the panel and the card with black gelatos and smudged to arrive at this look.
Added the glitter heart die-cuts, sentiment and paper scrap with hearts on it to complete my card...........

A Saturday afternoon well spent...

Here's a peak at the "Mini Album Making Workshop" this Saturday. We had so much fun. I've discovered that I find teaching craft even more satisfying than crafting itself! Which means more workshops coming up :)
