This week's Challenge

This is what I came up with for this week’s card patterns and daring cardmakers challenges.

The dare in daring cardmakers was to make a card with a bunny or a chick in it. Since I don’t have either a chick or bunny stamp I decided to use a quilled bunny instead. I have still not got the hang of taking good snaps of quilled cards; somehow the lighting is never quite right!
I love to embroider but my work and card making leave no time for it. So I did some embroidery in my card itself! I did some chain stitch and stem stitch on the pink border ribbon. I stuck sequins along one edge of the ribbon.
I had no sentiment stamp to go with my bunny card so I used quilling strips to make the first alphabet of each word in the sentiment. I really love the effect, will definitely use it more often......
