Vintage Flowers...

Hello Everyone,
Happy Thursday! Hope you're having a great week. As some of you must be aware we moved to Singapore a couple of weeks back, we've been busy finalizing an apartment and a school for my daughter.
The weekend's already started in Singapore, 7th to 10th are public holidays as it's the island's 50th Birthday on the 9th of August. It happens to be my birthday too on the 9th (not my 50th though! :P) so the whole of Singapore would be celebrating my birthday...wink wink. Now that our apartment's finalized we'll be going for some furniture shopping over the weekend other than catching some awesome SG50 fireworks.

Now to my card, I inked my Altenew Vintage Flowers stamp set for the first time...not sure if my stamping is any good, it took me quite a few attempts to get here with my limited supplies. I would have loved to add some Pretty Pink Pposh white sequins, but alas I don't have any...guess who needs to do some craft shopping now :P
The black stitched frame, circle and "love you" dies are from the "Love mom layers" Die from WPlus9. The tiny hearts are from the "Finished Frames" die from Avery Elle
I scored the front black panel at regular intervals to make it stand out from the card base.

  1. Hey, this one is a brilliant creation, love the way the colored flowers stand out against black in background. Simple, yet wonderful stuff. Good to know that whole of Singapore will be celebrating your birthday - wishes in advance for a very very happy birthday :) and yes have loads of fun in a new land on your special day. And yes, by talking about bday in this blog post, you reminded me too of my bday and a gift thereby. How about making the same (not similar, but same stuff) card for my Bday - wink wink ? LOL
