Hello everyone! This is my first post for the Happy Little Stampers Mixed Media Challenge. The theme for this month is paint.
The challenge is sponsored by
The winner will receive a $15 gift certificate from the store.
For my card I first created a quick background by applying some thinned down peeled paint distress paint with a flat brush. Once it dried I stamped the butterfly and the sentiment on top of it, both the stamps are from the HLS Butterfly Birthday stamp set. I colored in the butterfly with Art Anthology Sorbet Dimensional paint with a paint brush and dabbed it with a piece of tissue to create some fun texture. I finished the card with some black soot distress paint splatters and a few sequins.
Thank you so much for stopping by, do hop over to the challenge blog to see the inspiration from the rest of the team, I'm sure you'll love it!

Welcome to the HLS Mixed Media Design Team! I see we both used the same butterfly stamp on our cards! I love what you did with it - fabulous paint (I'll have to investigate it as I've never heard of it) and colours on the butterfly! And a perfect background for it using the Distress Paint!
