I had so much fun with the Fabulous Flora release! The release features gorgeous floral embossing folders and layering stencils.

Hello - You fill my heart

Sentiment Strips 3 Stamp Set

This card is unlike my usual card making style but I LOVE how it turned out! I started by using the Blobby Roses layering stencil to create an A2 sized panel. I then used the coordinating die to cut out the roses. I played around with the die cuts to come up with a layout I was happy with and added the fancy hello die-cut and sentiment strip to finish the card.

Coloring on embossed patterns is so much fun! I created this card by embossing with the Ixora 3D embossing folder onto watercolor cardstock and watercoloring the embossed design. I used liquid watercolors and added details with watercolor markers. I added white splatters to bring it all together. I finished the card with a die-cut hello and sentiment strip.

This card took me a few tries to get it right, though I'm still not sure if I like it a lot. I wanted to create a vintage effect in reds and golds. I started by embossing the Woods Rose pattern onto watercolor card stock and watercoloring in shades of red. I then spritzed the panel with water and let the colors spread. Once dry I added some more color to the flower petals. I then rubbed versamark watermark ink on the raised parts of the design and heat embossed with gold embossing powder. To create a vintage look, I distress the edges and inked them with red ink.

Red and Gold Embossed Card

Fancy Hello Die

For my first card I decided to I played around with the embossing folder. I wanted to create a monochromatic card but I wasn't sure about the color. So, I tried a few different colors and finally settled on this plum cardstock. I inked up one side of the embossing folder with a darker plum shade and ran it through my die-cutting machine. I used my fingers to rub gold antique wax on some of the raised parts of the design. I finished the card by adding the sentiment from the set and a die-cut hello.

I used the stamp, layering stencils, and coordinating dies to create my second card. It was so fun and quick to put together. I finished the card by adhering the die-cut flowers onto a dark blue cardstock base.

Slimline Watercolor Card

My third card is a watercolor slimline card. I went with no-line watercoloring in shades of blue on this one. I finished the card adding black splatters and the fancy yay die-cut.

I decided to with a blue and purple color palette for my first card. I used watercolor cardstock as the base for stenciling the Folk Flowers Stencil Set (3 in 1). I framed the stenciled panel with the large die from the Mega Stamp Frames Die and added the fancy Yay die cut with glitter silver card stock. I also added a sentiment from the Sentiment Strips 3 Stamp Set.

You're Charming Card

Featuring:

This card was super fun to put together. I inked and die-cut the Folk flowered motif using the layering stencil and coordinating die-set; I also cut out the motif with plain white card stock. I layered the colored die-cut motif over the white one to add some depth and dimension to the design. I used the Dotted Tile Debossing Cover Die on white card stock to create the background for my card. I finished the card by framing the die-cut flowers with a gold shimmer die-cut stamp frame and 'charming' die-cut from the Folk Flowers Die Set.
