Altenew Build-A-Flower: Candystripe Cosmos Release Blog Hop + Giveaway ($200 in total prizes)

Hello everyone, Happy New Year! Juhi here, welcome to my stop at the Altenew Build-A-Flower: Candystripe Cosmos Release Blog Hop + Giveaway ($200 in total prizes)! You should be arriving here from the very talented Jenny Colacicco's blog, up next is the amazing Jaycee Gaspar‘s blog. If you get lost, you can go back to the Altenew Card Blog and start from there or check the list of Designers in the hop listed down.

I am beyond excited and honored to be a part of Altenew's latest Build-A-Flower: Candystripe Cosmos Layering Stamp & Die Set release

The Candystripe Cosmos Stamp and die set is part of Altenew's Build-a-flower family which features gorgeous floral layering stamps with coordinating dies. You can find more details, discounts and subscription details here.

Now over to my cards.

For my first card, I used Altenew inks in pastel shades to stamp the layers of the Candystripe Cosmos layered stamp. I chose not to stamp the 3rd base layering stamp to create soft, light-colored flowers. I wanted to make a slimline card with a floral arrangement so I snipped off the leaves and stem from the flowers. I adhered the die-cut flowers and leaves on a soft watercolored slimline cardstock base and added the sentiment to finish my card.

Here is the layering guide for your reference.

For my second card, I chose to watercolor the flower stamp. I paired the stamp and die-set with the Mega Stamp Frame Die Set.
