3-D Greek Window

I made this card for this week’s Card Patterns and Daring Cardmakers challenges. Required a lot of time and effort but it was all worth it in the end.
This week the dare is hide and seek in Daring Cardmakers. The Design Team at Daring Cardmakers would like to see a hidden message or element on your cards. So I decided to make a greek window which opens up to reveal a message. I love the bright blue of the windows set against stark white walls. I made the shutters by cutting and folding slits in the paper.
This is the Card Patterns sketch, I flipped the sketch for my card.

  4. Hi Juhi,

Thank you for your comment. And it is nice seeing another Indian in the cardmaking blogspace. I stumbled across one another blogger last week :-).
Maybe if there are enough of us, one of these international companies will start selling their supplies here in India! ;-)
Love your greek window. I am guessing that the stamp is from Hobby Ideas.
Keep up your good work and do keep visiting my blog!

  5. Just one more question, Juhi. Actually quite a few... I have been contemplating the idea of foraying into the Etsy for a while. How do they charge us? And have you found buyers in India as well?
And where are your stamps from? Not all of them seem like the Hobby Ideas stuff. Does your hubby make all of them at home?

  6. Thank you for your lovely comments. Yes, rubber stamping in India is going to be a very expensive hobby! :-(
