This is the sketch on which my card is based.
I usually don’t like too many layers on my cards; it is a lot of work. I cannot manage to sneak in more than 1 hr of card making each day, so making a layered card would mean making less than a card a day, besides I can never figure out what colors go well together. But this time I decided to give it a shot, and I love the result!!
I love the bright colors of the card; I hope they appeal to the birthday boy. And added some buttons to brighten it up some more.
I stringed the punched stars with a ribbon by punching holes in the center of the stars.
I love this card, Juhi. The big 'star' is just perfect! And I think you should work with layers more often... adds a great dimension to the card, and you have done such fabulous work with this one that I am sure you will do it again! :-)

This is just awesome... Greattake on the layout. I love the ribbon treatment with the stars. Very creative.
ReplyDeleteWow, look at all those stars! Nice job layering them all and using the sketch. Thanks for joining us this week.
ReplyDeleteThanks for dropping by my blog. :-)
ReplyDeleteEven I handcut the paper for tea bag folding. But the problem is, I used a paper that was a bit too thick for this star I think :-(. There are loads of tea bag folding classes here in Mumbai; maybe I should find out what they use... we can always get tutorials online anyway.
Happy crafting!
