This is the first card I made for Splitcoaststampers. Archana from Blossoms of creativity introduced me to this site. I guess most of you in the card making community must already be aware of it. Its a great place to share ideas and learn from others, I spent almost my whole day at work yesterday going through it. I hope my boss did not notice :P. I guess its ok to fool around at work once in a while ;).The challenge at SCS was to make a card using the colors from a room in your house. I made my card using the colors from my living room.The walls are green and the room has choclate upholstery.

This card is also losely based on Card Patterns sketch 11. I could not submit my card that week.

I am planning to give this card to my mother on mother's day. Every day I give her mushy, pretty card, so this year I decided to make her a fun card.

This is the first time I have used this owl stamp, though I have had it for more than an year now. I loved the image but could never figure out how to use it.

I have used another one of my crochet flowers, I can't seem to get enough of them!!
