Hello everyone! I'm super excited and so, so honored to be joining Hero Arts for their 2018 Summer Catalog Blog Hop!
You should have arrived from the wonderful Jeanne Jachna's blog. If you're just stopping by you don't want to miss out on all the fun! You can start from the beginning at the Hero Arts Blog.
Hero Arts will be giving away two $50 shopping sprees, randomly drawn from comments left across all blogs in the hop. Please comment by Sunday, May 20th at 11:59pm PST. The winners will be announced on the Hero Arts blog the week after commenting closes.
I have been working on my watercoloring skills and the flowers just perfect for watercoloring. They were such a delight to watercolor. I stamped the flowers in black ink off the edge of a watercolor cardstock panel once and then a second time with some masking.
I used Windsor and Newton watercolors to paint the flowers and love the results! The colors I used are based on this image of blooming Nasturtiums that I found on the internet.
I really loved the pop of bright pink in the midst of reds, oranges and yellows and that is what I've tried to replicate on the card.
My second card features the super cute Fennec the Fox Stamp set. I love the how the sentiments go perfectly with the images!
The images are watercolored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers. The background is a beautifully textured glittered piece of scrap wallpaper. I got it from an upcycling warehouse I discovered in my neighborhood recently.
Thank you so much for stopping by today. Your next stop on the hop is the awesome Karen Bull.
