Winter Blessings

Hello everyone! Happy new year! I hope you get time to stamp to your heart's content this year! I certainly hope to stamp a lot more than I did last year. Stamping makes my soul so very happy, but with 2 young kids and a full time job it's hard to find time. Well, I'm going to try to stamp a bit every week! Do you have any craft resolutions for 2020?
I'm sharing 2 cards I made with my brand new stampset Snowy Pine Trees from Kitchen Sink Stamps. I just love, love, love this set, there are so many possibilities. It is so easy to create an artsy watercolor look!
For my first card, I stamped the trees with Gina K inks on watercolor paper and created background with Taylored Expressions Blender brushes. I ran over the ink blended sky with a wet brush for the watercolor look. I also went over the trees with a wet brush to soften the colors. The sentiment is from the Winter Blessings set from Unity Stamps.
It's really rare that I have a vision for a card and it turns out exactly as I imagined in one try. The second card I'm sharing is one of those rare cards, I am so happy with the way it turned out!
It featured the same stamps, this time I used distress inks for the background and did not add water to it.
Playing along the following challenges:
Thanks so much for stopping by today, have a great rest of the week!

Reverse Confetti : Fa La La

Hello everyone, I'm back with another fun project as a 'Fetti Friend for Reverse Confetti. I created a Christmas Card using 2 of my favorite sets from Reverse Confetti.
The cute koala was holding a flower, I rubbed off the ink from the flower and stamped to remove it from my stamped image.
I designed the plaid patterned paper used in the background. I tried a few other Christmasy colors and now I'm addicted. If any of you are interested I might put them for free download, just let me know in the comments.

Reverse Confetti October Blog Hop!

Today is the day!  It is the Reverse Confetti October Blog Hop!

You should have arrived here from the awesome Susan Liles's blog!  If not, you'll want to start at the beginning of the hop which is the Reverse Confetti blog!

I made a couple of Christmas Tree Shaker Ornaments.  Be warned, get your sunglasses if you don't want to be blinded by these super shimmery and glittery shaker ornaments!
Well....I did warn you!

I used bright glitter foam to create these, the cute bear and Christmas tree are from the Christmas Bear set from the September release.
The Fa-la-la die is also from the September release.

Remember to hop over to the Reverse Confetti Blog to see all the fabulous inspiration and to leave comments on my other teammates blogs!

The Heart Desires Challenge #7

Hello everyone! I'm back with another challenge for the The Heart Desires Store Blog. Here's this month's inspiration image.
Isn't it just gorgeous! I just love those colors and how beautifully they go together! You could either take inspiration from the images or the colors or both. Remember you don't have to use products from the store to participate.
Here's what I came up with.
Neat and Tangled and avery elle "Season's Greetings" card
I created the background using the colors from the inspiration image with Gansai Tambi watercolors. I used a leftover strip of the watercolor background for the sentiment.
The gorgeous deer image is from Avery Elle which I've colored with Copic markers. The circle background is the leftover die cut from a Gina Marie reverse scalloped circle die.
Link up your awesome creations here. Looking forward to seeing your creations!
