Happy Thursday folks! Here's another card I made with the Simon Says Stamp "Christmas Graphics" set.
I had done a set of cards using this set in non-traditional Christmas colors, you can check them out here.
Kept it pretty simple for this one, love how the colors stand out on red. Red really brings on the Christmas spirit, don't you think so?

I have always been fascinated by snowflakes, even more so probably because I haven't seen any in real life :(
I tried out these super easy (and inexpensive) plastic straw snowflakes and loved the results!
You will need:

1. Plastic straws - mine were 8.25" long
2. Hot glue gun and glue sticks
3. Fevicol / Elmer's Glue
4. Fine glitter / diamond dust
5. Scissors
6. Stapler

Another Christmas card to share. Have used Christmas theme die-cuts for the sentiment and focal image.

Here's my first Christmas card this season, this card looks so much better IRL....too bad the photo turned out so bad :(
I used my latest craft buys - Lindy's Stamp Gang star-burst sprays and an MFT chevron stencil for the first time on the circular panel. Haven't quite got the hang of it yet, but love the result, nevertheless.

 Some of you might be aware that I took up a new job recently, to reward myself on getting the job I went ahead and placed an extravagant order from Simon Stays Stamp, I have never placed such a big international order ever, this was on 11th November 2012 and guess what I am still waiting for the parcel to arrive :( ......I have checked with the foreign post office customs office in Bangalore and also at the local post office without any luck.....now I can assume the parcel is lost.....I am heartbroken :((....I lost a lot of money + I really really wanted those craft goodies (can we ever have enough craft supplies?)
I also ordered some dies from blitsy.com and My Favorite Things and luckily both the parcels arrived safely....the paper bow is die-cut from this dainty bows MFT Die-namics die......absolutely love it....

I am one of the guest designers at Lia Stampz for this fortnight's challenge, which is - Fancy Fold. The deadline for this challenge is December 15th. You DON'T have to use a LiaStampz image (can be any stamp/digi stamp/ embellishment-not even an image).  I've tried a tri-shutter card for the first time and I love the result. The digi is the super cute Haley from Lia... You can find it on Whimsy Stamps here. I just loved to color her, infact I printed out a few just to color them! will use them on some cards later. I've used glossy accents on the cap edge and dress frill to give it some dimension.........the snowflakes are stamped and covered with Pie Lane Pixie Dust Glitter.
