Welcome, little one

Hello everyone! I hope you are having a great week. Today I'm sharing a CAS card with Reverse Confetti stamps, aren't those koalas the most adorable bears you've ever seen! I just can't get enough of them.
CAS card using #ReverseConfetti Bear Hugs Stamps. Aren't those koalas the cutest?
I don't have coordinating dies for these so I used my Silhouette Cameo's Pix Scan mat to cut out the stamped images. I found a way to save the cut files so that I can quickly cut using a regular Silhouette cutting mat the next time and then stamp the image on it. This'll save a lot of time as I won't have to stamp the images, mount on the Pix Scan mat, take a picture, transfer to my laptop and generate the correct trace area every time I want to stamp and cut. It's really easy, I'll post a tutorial soon.

Pink and white

We just got back from a 2 week vacation......and instead of feeling rejuvenated I am exhausted! We visited my parents and my husband's family....my daughter got sick during the trip and we even considered cutting it short.......but things got better eventually and we had a great time.....and now its back to work.
I made this card before we I left.......this is totally inspired by my friend Laura's work.....she designs the most gorgeous wedding invites......check out her work here.
I even made a co-ordinating envelop to go with me card.

First we had each other...

I made this canvas for a friend who had a baby girl recently. The quote was cut using my Silhouette Cameo, the background patterned paper is from DCWV, I added a generous dose of sparkle Mod Podge over the entire canvas.......love love love the shimmer :)
I also added a customized photo frame (yup you guessed it the baby's name is Saannvi ;) )  to complete my handmade gift set.

Welcome, Baby!

A super quick post for a super quick card, love how this came up. Have die-cut the giraffe from packaging cardboard using a sizzix originals die. I've had this die for more than a year and never got around to using it, until I discovered it can cut through fabric and cardboard with great ease.....now the possibilities are endless!

Baby Boy Chipboard Mini Album

I made this at the shortest notice possible, completed it in 6 hours. An old neighbor called on Friday night and said that she'd be visiting us the next day......making a mini for her baby boy had been on my crafty thing to do list for a long time... so I spent 3 hrs on it on Friday night and another 3 on Saturday morning. I am extremely happy with how it turned out.
For the first time I've used papers and quotes exclusively from one paper pack, DCWV Baby Boy Stack that I got from Itsy Bitsy and stuck with a consistent color scheme. The alpha stickers are also from Itsy Bitsy.

The cute baby wooden embellishments are from Jovi's Store, so are the wooden buttons.
This book is inspired by this album. I discovered Phyllis's site recently and am in love with all of her work.
Here's a closer look at some of the tags.
So this is one baby (or rather one mum) crossed out from my long list of babies (or mommies) who'll be getting mini albums made by me :)
Thanks for visiting!

Kriti's First Birthday

I have been MIA for so long now that I feel like I'm back to my initial blogging days...I need to restart blogging regularly and visiting/commenting on blogs......I have resolved to make and post atleast 2 cards a week, I am also taking a break from crafting on order, even though I enjoy the love and appreciation (+ it pays for new supplies) it leaves me with no time to try new things...
Ok now for some crafty stuff, we celebrated Kriti's first birthday (yes she is one already!) last Sunday, I had big plans to make ball themed invites, favors, decorations (Balls are Kriti's favorite toys).....but couldn't do even one of them due to lack to time and planning, I know I'm a bad Mum :( .......I did somehow manage to make some handstamped invites for the neighbors and personalized tags for the return gifts. I was not entirely happy with how they turned out but they had to do.....will surely do better next year. The stamp and die set is from PTI, it's called "Little Princess", I've stamped it with Fired Brick distress ink.....added some green rick rack to create a grounded castle. The label die is from Itsy Bitsy, was a bit apprehensive before buying because I hadn't heard of the brand, but it a great die (it even embosses) at the price.
I printed out the personalized messages for the tags and added some washi tape and flowers for the girls (stars for the boys).
The pictures are not great, they do look a tad better IRL.
Here's a picture of the her birthday cake and decoration, you can spot the CD "Kriti" banner from here.
Here is really bad picture of Kriti n me, sadly this is all I have.
Thanks for still visiting my blog, even though I don't say so often I really appreciate it.
Hugs,
Juhi
